Zusammenfassung
In ehrenamtlichen Führungspositionen sind geschlechtsbezogene Ungleichheiten offensichtlich. Der Beitrag fokussiert auf der Basis eines sozialkonstruktivistischen Verständnisses von Geschlecht und organisationssoziologischer Ansätze Zusammenhänge von sozialen Strukturen und Geschlechterordnung in Sportorganisationen. Empirische Grundlage sind eine Interviewstudie und eine schriftliche Befragung ehrenamtlicher Präsidiums- und Jugendvorstandsmitglieder nordrhein-westfälischer Landesfachverbände.
Abstract
Gender-related inequalities constitute an obvious phenomenon in honorary leading positions. The focus of this article, which is based on a social constructivist understanding of gender and on organizational-sociological approaches, is on the correlation between social structures and gender order in sports organisations. The empirical foundation is a case study and an extensive questionnaire completed by honorary members of the executive boards of regional governing bodies of sports- and their youth organisations in North-Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
